POSITION OVERVIEW
Position Summary
Provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to Agency and other governing bodies (LDSS, OCFS, CSE, etc.) standards and requirements for adolescent clients who are emotionally disturbed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the physical order of the building and therapeutic environment of the units.
- Develop and maintain schedules within the assigned campus residential unit, ensuring that there is adequate staff to meet regulatory requirements and safety requirements.
- Responsible to ensure that youth in our care are being supervised according to regulatory and programmatic standards.
- Design, implement and supervise program activity which will lead to the attainment of goals described within treatment plans.
- Supervise and evaluate the work of residential staff assigned to residential programs.
- Maintain records as directed by the Residential Program Manager.
- Participate in the interviewing and selection of new staff members.
- Participate in the training of residential staff.
- Conduct residential staff meetings.
- Participate in the evaluation of youth referred to the Agency for residential care.
- Conduct the financial activity of the residential unit in accordance with guidelines established by the Residential Program Manager and the Director.
- Responsible for managing program funds, purchasing food, clothing, household supplies, managing youth allowances
- Participate/organize program and agency wide special events and services.
- Provide for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including physical safety, hygiene, clothing, food (cooking when necessary), medical care, a reliable and nurturing environment.
- Participate in program on call rotation
Education and Experience
Requires minimum of HS diploma or equivalent and at least three to four years of relevant experience.
Certification/Licensure

The Behavioral Health program and the ACT program are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitionerout of our Albany and Schenectady, NY Location. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive Psychiatric services to Adults who are enrolled in the ACT program. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Must be able to seechildren.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric services to adults enrolled in ACT and BehavioralHealthas assigned
- Provide consultation to staff on diagnostic and treatment questions
- Participate in formal and informal training and education to staff·Prescribe medications, monitor, and review of drug regimen for ACT enrolled individuals
- Participate in quality assurance activities, consult with the ACT Team in developing and reviewing service plans for all ACT enrolled individuals
- Provide clinical expertise, consultation, and technical assistance to the ACT Team/Behavioral Health, cooperate with the County and participate in any quality audit and utilization review ·Provide on-site/community based/home visits medication evaluations and reviews.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Requires Board Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Must have a minimum of two years working with adults who have Seriously and persistently mentally ill.
- Must be fully licensed Nurse Practitionerin the State of New York.

As a Residential Youth Counselor, you will provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to agency policy and governing bodies' (DSS, OMH, JCAHO, etc.) requirements for elementary aged children.. You will work on-site on our Albany campus and will report to the Residential Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Provide for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including physical safety, hygiene, clothing, food, cooking, medical care, and providing a reliable and nurturing environment.
1:1 Residential Counselor
You will follow an individual youth’s 1:1 expectations plan, ICMP, and any safety plans in place.
Engage the youth in activities and conversation that are age appropriate and at the appropriate developmental level.
Document in writing a summary of each shift.
Learn the history and specific issues associated with the youth who requires 1:1; will learn how to safely manage any crisis.
Seek and obtain training in any particular area specific to the youth who requires 1:1care.
Transport 1:1 client for medical, mental health, and other essential needs.

You will must be able to work within trauma informed framework of program, including identifying and using coping/safety plans, maintaining consistency, providing regular routine, and controlling own response to youth.
Engage and form positive relationship with all youth served.
Complete all mandatory trainings according to programmatic guidelines.
Display basic competency in TCI techniques.
Follow outlined program routines, therapeutic plans of youth, and program rules and protocols.
Work as part of a team including colleague residential counselors, clinicians, on line oncall, supervisors, and other administrative and functional support staff.

Complete and maintain documentation to meet programmatic and regulatory standards.

Job Summary | The Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of Quantum Computing, Quantum Information, and Quantum Technology, with focus on the fundamental aspects or applications of quantum computation, scalability, and error correction on current and future quantum computing devices. Research areas can include but not limited to quantum entanglement, decoherence, and noise in quantum networks, with applications to quantum cryptography, quantum encryption, and secure quantum communications in noisy environments. Possible related areas would also include studying and exploiting the fundamental connections between Quantum Monte Carlo and Quantum Computing, simulating quantum field theory and many-body theory with a quantum computer (in particular, simulating systems with a “sign” problem), quantum communication networks, exotic quantum dynamics, quantum sensing protocols, exotic quantum phases of matter, and theory on the nature of information at the quantum level. With the anticipated of arrival of the IBM Quantum System One on our campus, this hire will have access to explore and implement some of these challenging problems. This hire would be part of a bold effort at RPI to strengthen and extend our current faculty cluster in Quantum Information, and would interact with our current faculty on quantum optics and photon entanglement, quantum field-theory, quantum fluctuations in networks, as well as with researchers from Computer Science, ECSE, Future of Computing Institute, and with the future hires of the recently announced Quantum Constellation. The position also represents a response to federal priorities expressed in the National Quantum Initiative Act. Job Summary | The Administrative Specialist serves as the primary point of contact in the Office of the President for visitors and callers and is responsible for ensuring that all parties receive prompt, professional and courteous attention when contacting the President’s Office. The Administrative Specialist may independently respond to inquiries, assist the visitor/caller on appropriate next steps, or direct to the appropriate person or department. In addition, the Specialist acts as the Building Coordinator for the Troy Building; is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the offices on the 3rd and 4th floors designated to the President; ensures that office supplies and equipment are inventoried and maintained; and ensures that electronic and paper records are filed and/or destroyed as appropriate. Job Summary | The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE in Troy, NY, is amid a planned multi-year renewal of its faculty and mission. As part of this renewal, we seek applications for the Frank and Lillian Gilbreth Endowed Chaired and Tenured Full Professorship in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Rensselaer. Job Summary | The Economic and Industry Analyst will analyze and make recommendations for progress of the sustainable fashion industry, from farms and new materials to processing to brands and design, in New York State and in general (in the U.S. and worldwide). The Analyst will review and keep abreast of pertinent studies and research, and will seek information from industry data sources, carry out interviews and surveys, and analyze and interpret the information. The work is based at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as part of the Fashion Innovation Center (FIC). The Analyst will interact with FIC members and participants to learn about the industry, discuss sustainable fashion industry problems and potential solutions, consider ways to advance the industry in New York State, and document relevant information and findings in report, paper, and/or book form. The Analyst will also provide suggestions where relevant to innovative project participants in the FIC’s accelerator. The Analyst will work closely with the Center Director and other FIC members. |

As a Science Teacher, you will develop and implement Science classroom instructional plans for students. You will provide subject area instruction (Science) that follow the NYS K-12 Science Curricula and prepare students for exit examinations and statewide assessments. You will report to the Assistant principal and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement science instructional materials to provide individual and small group instruction to students of various ability levels, and at the high school level develop, teach, and assess laboratory experiences for Earth Science, Living Environment, and/or Environmental Science.
- Develop and implement classroom instructional plans with the Special Education Teachers that integrates the student's IEP goals and objectives, learning styles, and accommodations and modifications that are needed.
- Work with the Special Education Teachers on individual and classroom behavior plans for managing student behavior to maintain discipline in the classroom.
- Use the classroom PBIS universal plan and Tier 2 and 3 strategies for selected students.
- Coordinate the safety and well-being of students through the use of established classroom and schoolwide processes and procedures; supervise classroom staff in implementing these with their work with students throughout the building.
- Follow school and agency procedures and policies for reporting incidents. This includes behavior incident reports (IR) and incidents such as child/sexual abuse, substance abuse, harassment, bullying, and violence.
- Establish relationships with parents and family members to create a partnership around student treatment, student behavior, and academic progress.
- Participate in classroom grade level, and behavior/treatment meetings and professional training and development sessions (e.g. TCI, CPR, emergency procedures and other agency requirements).
- Follow all Agency policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations pertaining to our school and students.
- Provide leadership to assigned teacher assistants in the various clerical and non-instructional duties for your classroom.
Requirements and Education:
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or subject area (Master's Degree preferred), and the ability to work with students who demonstrate serous emotional and behavioral challenges, ages 6-21.
